The price has slipped further since. CoinGecko’s 24-hour low on October 30 was $0.072687, and the Crypto Fear & Greed Index read 30 (“Fear”) that day.

According to U.Today, a Dogecoin contributor said DOGE “was never meant to be Ethereum or Solana” and argued that its simplicity remains a strength.

What could support Dogecoin
Spot ETFs exist, but they’re small
The SEC declared the 21Shares Dogecoin ETF (TDOG) registration statement effective on January 9, 2026. Its Form 10-Q filing shows it held about 38.26 million DOGE on June 30, 2026, with a cost basis of $4,239,631 and a fair value of $2,761,751, a paper loss.
TokenPost reported record weekly inflows of almost $2.90 million in the week before September 27. It didn’t last. Ad-hoc-news, citing TokenPost data, reported a $538,000 net outflow in the week ended October 24, when US spot DOGE ETFs held net assets of just $14.44 million.
Dogecoin Labs and DogeOS
CoinMarketCap’s update describes a shake-up at the Dogecoin Foundation. It ended its exclusive commercial partnership with Nasdaq-listed House of Doge, effective October 19, 2026, secured a $400,000 settlement and named Dogecoin Labs its new official commercial partner.
Dogecoin Labs was formed on October 21, 2026, with Jordan Jefferson as chief executive. It brings MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App under one roof, and MyDoge had more than 500,000 users at launch.
